Zoe is an experienced criminal barrister – she was a senior public defender at Victoria Legal Aid before returning to the private bar.
She has been with VLA Chambers since 2014. She came to VLA from the Victorian Bar, where she had been since 2009. Prior to the Bar, she practised as a solicitor at Balmer & Associates.
Zoe has experience appearing in, and is available to be briefed for:
- Supreme and County Court trials, pleas, appeals and bail applications
- Contested committals
- Matters involving the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997 and Serious Offenders Act 2018
