Biography

Megan Tittensor is an experienced trial advocate based at Gorman Chambers in Melbourne.

She has appeared in all types of criminal matters; notably murder, conspiracy, corporate and tax fraud, Occupational Health and Safety as well as drug and sexual offences.

In addition, Megan practices in quasi-criminal jurisdictions including disciplinary and tribunal matters, coronial inquests and royal commissions.  In relation to the latter, Megan appeared as junior counsel for the Managing Director of AWB in the AWB Royal Commission, and in subsequent civil penalty proceedings brought by ASIC.  More recently she was Counsel Assisting in the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants.

Until recently, Megan was Vice Chair of the Criminal Bar Association of Victoria after having been its Secretary for over ten years.
