Jennifer welcomes briefs in criminal and quasi-criminal matters, public and administrative law matters, and inquests and inquiries. She accepts briefs to appear and advise for both prosecution and defence.
She was admitted to the Bar in Canada in 2015, where she appeared regularly, unled and as junior counsel, in complex criminal matters ranging from summary driving offences to murder.
Prior to joining the Victorian Bar, Jennifer was Associate to the Honourable Justice Lasry in the Supreme Court of Victoria, sitting in the Criminal Trial Division and Court of Appeal. As an Associate, she gained direct insight from the Bench regarding criminal trials, plea hearings, bail applications, fitness investigations and special hearings.
Jennifer read with Rishi Nathwani, and her senior mentor was Dermot Dann KC.
