Ashlee Cannon Appointed to the County Court of Victoria

Parnell’s Barristers is delighted to congratulate Ashlee Cannon on her appointment as a Judge of the County Court of Victoria.

Ashlee has built an accomplished and highly respected practice at the Victorian Bar, with extensive experience appearing in criminal trials, committals, appeals and other criminal law matters. She has earned a strong reputation for her advocacy, professionalism and commitment to the administration of justice.

Before coming to the Bar, Ashlee spent two and a half years as a Judge’s Associate at the County Court of Victoria. Her appointment marks a remarkable full-circle moment and reflects a career dedicated to the law and public service.

Throughout her career, Ashlee has also been committed to ensuring access to justice, including through her inclusion on the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.

Her appointment is richly deserved and is a testament to the respect in which she is held by colleagues, clients and the broader legal profession.
