Rishi Nathwani KC appointed as Senior Counsel

Rishi Nathwani KC has been appointed on 18 October 2023 as Senior Counsel by Chief Justice Anne Ferguson of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

The Court describe the appointment of Senior Counsel as recognition of a legal practitioner’s skill, integrity, independence and standing in the profession. Senior Counsel are highly regarded advocates and leaders in their fields.

Rishi is a foundation member of Parnell’s Barristers and one of the most highly regarded criminal barristers in the country. He is routinely instructed in the most serious cases, involving homicides, terrorism, serious violence (GBH, armed robberies, aggravated burglaries), serious sexual offences (historic rape, rape of a child) and substantial frauds and money laundering.
