Her Honour Magistrate Zoe Broughton appointed to the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria

Parnell’s Barristers warmly congratulates Her Honour Magistrate Zoe Broughton on her appointment as a Magistrate of the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria.

Her Honour has been a highly respected criminal barrister with deep experience across Victoria’s criminal jurisdictions. 

Throughout her career, Her Honour has appeared in complex criminal matters including Supreme and County Court trials, pleas, appeals and bail applications, as well as contested committals. She also has significant expertise in matters arising under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997 and Serious Offenders Act 2018.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Her Honour on this well-deserved appointment and wish her every success as she commences this new chapter of service to the community.
