Katharine Brown wins Daniel Pollak Readers Award for pro bono work

Katharine Brown was awarded the Daniel Pollak Readers Award for outstanding achievement in pro bono advocacy. This award acknowledges barristers who have completed their Readers’ Course within the previous two years and have excelled in their pro bono work. She was recognised for her exceptional commitment to pro bono work, including her participation in significant cases.

One of Katharine’s notable contributions was her work in the Waratah v Youth Verdict [2022] QLC 4 case.

Congratulations to Katharine on her outstanding achievement in pro bono advocacy. We hope that young barristers will be motivated by her example and engage in practices that strive for justice, equality and inclusion for all.
