Sharon is a trial advocate practising principally in criminal law. She is listed on the VLA Preferred Trial Counsel List; is a leader in the VLA Trial Counsel Development program; and Recommended Senior Counsel on Doyle’s Guide.
Sharon also appears in coronial inquests, and other public inquiries. She works in regulatory and disciplinary matters, including in the areas of sports law, medical and legal practise. She has appeared as counsel-assisting the coroner in a number of significant inquests, including into the Death of Veronica Nelson.
She began her career in general practise as a solicitor advocate, including working for Aboriginal Legal Aid in the Northern Territory.
Sharon is presently on the Board of Theatre Works.
