Biography

Nico accepts briefs in criminal law and quasi-criminal matters.

He previously held two roles at the Victorian Office of Public Prosecutions, first as a solicitor and then as a solicitor advocate. Nico is experienced in managing serious criminal prosecution cases at all stages of proceedings, and he has significant advocacy experience in the criminal jurisdiction, where he developed a reputation as a strong and fair advocate.

Nico also has extensive experience in international criminal courts and tribunals. He regularly drafted judicial decisions and parties’ submissions in cases involving charges of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and offences against the administration of justice. He also appeared as an advocate before the Trial and Appeals Chambers of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
