Matt accepts briefs in all areas of criminal, quasi-criminal, and administrative law matters in regional and metropolitan areas. This includes occupational health and safety offences, disciplinary tribunal proceedings, regulatory matters, inquests, and judicial reviews.

Since coming to the Bar, Matt has appeared in a variety of matters in the:
- Victorian Court of Appeal;
- Supreme Court of Victoria;
- County Court of Victoria;
- Magistrates’ Court of Victoria;
- Children’s Court of Victoria; and
- Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
