Maddy accepts briefs in the areas of criminal law, administrative law, inquests and regulatory matters.
Maddy has experience appearing in Supreme Court and County Court trials (junior and unled), as well as pleas, appeals, committals, breach proceedings and post-sentence applications and reviews. She also has experience advising in and providing written submissions for professional disciplinary proceedings and other administrative decision-making bodies.
In addition to her Victorian practice, Maddy has appeared in the Supreme Courts of both Western Australia and the Northern Territory .
Prior to coming to the bar, Maddy practised as a solicitor advocate at Stary Norton Halphen Criminal Lawyers and was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Coghlan AO and the Honourable Justice Croucher at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
