Greer has experience in a broad range of State and Commonwealth indictable matters, she has particular interest in complex drug matters, fraud and serious sex offences. Greer accepts briefs in criminal, administrative law matters, coronial or investigative hearings and regulatory matters.
Greer started her career in Victoria at the Melbourne office of Doogue + George. She predominantly worked in criminal defence litigation and some quasi-criminal jurisdictions including instructing counsel at the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory. She has significant capacity and experience in working with Indigenous clients.
Greer completed her university studies in Brisbane, Queensland. Whilst studying she worked part-time at a private defence law firm and 8 Petrie Terrace Barristers Chambers as a legal assistant. She completed her practical legal training at Madman Productions (in-house legal) and Younes + Espiner in Sydney (now Hugo Law Group).
Immediately prior to signing the Bar roll, Greer worked as a Criminal Division Lawyer at the County Court of Victoria.
