Biography

Bryn has a broad practice in public and administrative law.  Bryn is an experienced advocate and appears in all jurisdictions, including VCAT, the AAT, County Court, Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Victoria.  Bryn has also appeared in the High Court.

Bryn has a particular interest in social security law, and prior to coming to the Bar, was the Principal Solicitor at Social Security Rights Victoria.   

Bryn has also previously practiced for a number of years at Victoria Legal Aid, appearing across the range of Victorian courts, as well as in the Mental Health Tribunal. Bryn has also lived and practiced in Alice Springs, working at the Central Australian Aboriginal Legal Aid Service (now NAAJA). He appeared regularly as a solicitor advocate in the Local Court representing Aboriginal clients from across central Australia.

Bryn holds a Master of Laws from SOAS University of London specialising in human rights, graduating with Distinction.

Bryn read with Nick Wood SC and his senior mentor is John Kelly SC.
