Bethany accepts briefs in criminal, quasi-criminal and common law matters in metropolitan and regional courts.
Immediately before coming to the Bar, Bethany was Associate to his Honour Judge Michael O’Connell in the Criminal Division of the County Court of Victoria. Previously she was the Associate to the Judge in Charge of the Common Law Division, his Honour Judge Chris O’Neill.
At the commencement of her career, Bethany worked at a boutique criminal law firm in Melbourne. There she instructed in a range of criminal defence matters in the Magistrates’ Court and County Court.
Bethany is reading with Anthony Lewis. Her Senior Mentor is Peter Morrissey S.C.
