Angela practises in all areas of criminal law and quasi-criminal law across all jurisdictions.
She has extensive experience appearing in the Children’s, Magistrates’, and County Courts. She appears in trials, committals, contested hearings, pleas, appeals, breach proceedings and bail applications.
Angela has also appeared as Junior Counsel in Trials in the Supreme and County Courts’ of Victoria, and in Appeals in the Court of Appeal.
Angela is on the Victoria Legal Aid Criminal Trial Preferred Barrister List.
In 2019, she was selected to participate in the Trial Counsel Development Program, run by Victoria Legal Aid.
Angela has also lectured in Criminal Law over a number of semesters in the Juris Doctor Program at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts (English Literary Studies), and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the University of Melbourne.
Prior to coming to the bar, Angela worked as a criminal solicitor in private practice for seven years.
She is sensitive to the needs of her instructing solicitors and she is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for each client. She does not accept direct access briefs.
