Biography

Colin was an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist before coming to the Bar. In his first week at the Bar he appeared with Julian Burnside QC in the High Court of the Solomon Islands, and since then has appeared in all Victorian jurisdictions, and most interstate, including murder trials in Perth, drug trials in Sydney, and trials in Brisbane and the Northern Territory. He has appeared in fraud and white-collar criminal trials, and successfully defended terrorism allegations before a jury in the Supreme Court of Victoria, in the trial of Ari Sherani.

Colin practices in a wide range of areas, including Occupational Health and Safety, administrative law, judicial reviews, Coronial inquests, and in tribunals and commissions of inquiry.
