Parnell’s Barristers welcomes Sharon Lacy SC

Parnell’s Barristers is pleased to welcome Sharon Lacy SC to the list.

Sharon is a leading trial advocate with a principal practise in criminal law. She is listed on the VLA Preferred Trial Counsel List, serves as a leader in the VLA Trial Counsel Development Program and is recognised as Recommended Senior Counsel in Doyle’s Guide.

Her practise extends to coronial inquests and public inquiries, where she has appeared in a number of significant matters including as counsel assisting in the inquest into the death of Veronica Nelson. Sharon also acts in regulatory and disciplinary matters across sports law, and the medical and legal professions.

Sharon began her career as a solicitor advocate, including with Aboriginal Legal Aid in the Northern Territory, and was appointed silk in 2023. She currently serves on the Board of Theatre Works.
